The Certificate in Graphics and Animation is an intensive one-year program specifically designed to provide aspiring digital artists with foundational skills in graphic design, animation, and digital illustration. This accelerated program focuses on practical, hands-on training with industry-standard software, preparing graduates for immediate entry into the creative industry or further specialized studies.
Our certificate program emphasizes practical application from the very first class. Students gain proficiency in essential design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, along with introductory 3D modeling and animation tools. This Diploma in Graphics & Animation aims to:
1. Provide students with foundational theoretical knowledge and essential practical skills in graphic design, digital illustration, and basic animation.

By the end of this Certificate course, graduates will be able to:
1. Create professional graphic designs including logos, posters, social media graphics, and digital illustrations using Adobe Creative Suite.
2. Apply fundamental design principles including color theory, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy to digital projects.
3. Produce basic 2D animations, motion graphics, and kinetic typography suitable for social media and digital marketing content.
4. Demonstrate foundational skills in 3D modeling, basic texturing, and simple animation techniques.

To be eligible for the Certificate in Graphics and Animation program, you must meet one of the following criteria:
a) A minimum of D (plain) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam, with at least a C- (minus) in either English or Kiswahili.
OR
b) Any other qualification that our institution officially recognizes as equivalent to the above.
