Nyandarua Governor Dr. Kiarie Badilisha has urged County Executive Committee Members (CECMs), Chief Officers, and Department Heads to align their sectoral targets with the County Integrated Development Plans (CIDPs), approved budget, Annual Development Plan (ADP), and his campaign manifesto.
While leading a performance management review session in Olkalou town to assess staff performance contracts for the 2025/2026 financial year, the Governor emphasized that these evaluations are essential for setting clear, time-sensitive goals used to recognize and reward outstanding public officers.
He highlighted that this annual evaluation allows the leadership team to review departmental milestones, fix execution gaps, and ensure everyone is aligned on budgetary goals.
Dr. Badilisha praised the Education Department for significant progress, particularly in upgrading Early Childhood Development (ECD) learning facilities across Nyandarua.
In line with Section 47 of the County Governments Act, departmental leaders were instructed to enforce compliance, boost local revenue generation, and channel resources into priority development projects.
