Digital Media & Broadcasting Training Institute (DMBTI) has expanded its academic and professional training portfolio with the introduction of two new programmes in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and DJ Training, responding to the rapidly changing demands of the digital economy and creative industry.
The new courses are designed to provide learners with practical, industry oriented skills that can enhance employability, entrepreneurship and innovation.
The Artificial Intelligence course will introduce learners to the practical application of AI in modern workplaces, including digital content creation, productivity, media and emerging technologies. The programme is intended to help students understand and responsibly use AI tools in an increasingly technology-driven environment.
The DJ course, meanwhile, will equip learners with practical skills in music mixing, live performance, sound management, entertainment production and the use of modern DJ equipment and software.
Speaking on the new programmes, DMBTI Principal Alexander Mutethia said the expansion reflects the institution’s commitment to providing relevant training that responds to emerging opportunities.
“The world of work is changing rapidly. Our responsibility is to ensure that our learners acquire practical skills that are relevant to today’s economy and prepare them for the opportunities of tomorrow,” Mutethia said.
The introduction of the two courses strengthens DMBTI’s position as an institution focused on practical, technology-driven and industry-relevant training, particularly in media, digital technology and the creative economy.
September Intake Ongoing
DMBTI is currently admitting students for the September intake, with applications open for the new AI and DJ programmes alongside other courses offered by the institution.
